Any recording engineer or producer putting that much echo or reverb on a recording (especially a recording of an acoustic guitar) should be fired immediately. And not be allowed to come near a recording studio again. To my ears, this sounds horrible. And whenever the player hits the body of the guitar, it sounds as if he was dubbed by a bongo player.
