I think all of his creators have either died of consumption or might be in prison by now, but their self-absorbed con job for the sake of egotistical bemusement left some who remain with doubts toward suicidal tendencies. It was a shameless example of contempt for normal human consideration, and is still reverberating all these years later, thanks to their smug contempt for fellow posters. Their mothers didn't hug them enough, obviously.

These days we have newbs probably prescribed pills and eating stuff with chemicals, so I don't exactly see self-absorbtion and wanton negativity going away, no matter how much mommy assured them they are special.

Lots of things need changing in society.
