Naturally I never knew him, but he must have been important to you.

Everyone who enters this world leaves their mark on it, if not directly then in the way they have influenced others for good or ill. Judging by your comments I gather that his presence made the world a little better. Indirectly, his presence continues to be felt in the world through you, and by those whom you have influenced or helped over the years.

Here's to your brother, may he live forever in the hearts of those who knew him, and in those who have benefited from his having lived, though they never knew his name.
