He excuses "difficult endings" as inevitable...

The "difficult endings" he refers to (I would use less neutral terminology) are not simple natural consequences of actions taken.

Just one of many things about his post that bugs me.

I sense a soft pattern of defeatism and ageism from Eeyore in general, but I don't want to get into it. Really.
