Quite the controversial character. Thought I despised him based on his gender theories and forced reassignments (clik the full David Reimer entry). Not exactly a gender bio story you're going to hear on the likes of NPR or BBC radio these days for sure.

But then I read his observations on the distinctions between affectional and sadistic pedophilias and felt sad that he was such a quack, because it's easy for us to notice there actually IS a distinction between those who revere the ones we love, and those who gleefully get off on the dark side of things. No different than any other labeled group, though our deemed illegitimacy by the greater society does seem to readily attract the latter ones like honey. Wish it were not so, but banish them from your midst in the meanwhile. It's been expressed here so many times in so many ways, but it bears regular repeating. Sadism is not girl love.

Anyway, we explore and share what we find. That's called lifeblood. It like, gets you interesting pertinent replies and stuff.
