I wish I had been there

From John Locke to Adams, to Franklin, to, well, lots of people. They all were well versed in human nature and the sciences. As such, they were very wise.

I cannot say what is the best system of government. I CAN say that anarchy would not work. However, we have what we have and THAT works good for me. I have a good life. While it still exists, democracy seems to be the most amenable to someone's lifestyle such as mine. To quote a man I most admire in my meanderings through literature, "I am free, no matter what rules surround me. If I find them tolerable, I tolerate them; if I find them too obnoxious, I break them. I am free because I know that I alone am morally responsible for everything I do."

I've heard that it most resembles Libertarian-ism but I don't know. I make it a point in my life to NOT research modern politics and social concepts.
