People here and especially at VoA often use pretty sigpics - at VoA you can use the pics of real girls. And even though we know for sure that the poster cannot look like his sigpic (most posters are male, middle-aged or old, and even if they were female, they cannot look like their childish sigpics), we tend to get the impression that the posters somehow resemble their sigpics: are young, good-looking, attractive and pleasant to look at.
