cities themselves are growing so large that they're also themselves growing into sets of semi isolated sub cities, rather than a single conglomerate; and the workforce is shrinking
Well, I don't know about other cities, but the GTA (the Greater Toronto Area) is one huge cesspool of political "One-ness" and Canada is importing emigrants by the gazillions. Unemployment (without reason) is almost unheard of here. The GTA grows by a couple of condominiums per day and the central controllers (the government) play their publicity games for the televisions while behind closed political doors the status quo remains quo. True, some hard-core laws managed to get enough public attention that things change. For example, the infamous 420, while being a nice highway from the QEW into Niagara Falls (here in Canada), has been quite illegal for decades yet, quite to the consternation of Uncle Sam, for us Canucks it is now becoming as legal as Crown Royale or Molson's.
Perhaps I misunderstand just what an "Anti" is? Would the parents of the 7 year old little girl who lives next door to me be considered "Anti" if they suddenly understood why I look at their little angel the way I do? If they wanted to shoot me? Would they be "Anti's"? It is these people who will never change their way of thinking about me. And there are a bazillion parents in the Western World that think this way. There are only a few thousand (again, in the entire Western World) that would gladly accept a hundred dollar bill from me and send their 7 year old daughter over to my house for night of private togetherness.
