So far he hasn't sold anything like intercontinental ballistic missile technology to the Chinese or Uranium to the Russians. He also hasn't started a war for the fun of it. He has not placed special access programs on an easily hackable home server.

Maybe in 2020 an improvement will run against him.

But right now the financial outcome seems to demonstrate Trump knows what he is doing.

So yes our benefit is there but at least in the first election the cost to everyone else seems not to be there.
