Pedophiles frequently comment/complain that non-pedophiles. and the General Public, do not "understand" them.

That's ridiculous. We understand them perfectly well . We understand that:

1) Pedophiles have a sexual attraction to children (including babies and minors) just as non-pedophiles have a sexual attraction to opposite-sex adults or the same-sex adults.

What's not to understand?

It's perfectly simple.

2) Not all pedophiles are child-molesters. Many would never have sexual contact with children.

3) Some would.

The Big Problem is: How do you tell the difference?

You can't.

So we must prohibit all sexual contact between pedophiles and babies/ children/ minors.

4) Pedophiles love children. At least they love children who are of the age that attracts them.

But that does not mean we should allow sexual contact between them because the downsides are so common and so severe.

Now......do we understand each other?
