The profession/occupation, one which projects power and commands subservience after all, is highly desired by psychopathic personality traits. They try to weed em out, but some will always slip through. Also, those who were bullied as kids sometimes see it as a way to exact revenge.

There are many good ones, though. I'm not believing their portrayal by MSM, mostly because the statistics don't bear out the force fed narratives. It's just one more lie by mainstream media and their attempts at shackling truth.

Still though, many cops are dicks who use underhanded tactics to fuck people they don't like, viewing the public as the enemy instead of trying to keep the peace. In some areas and demographics the public really is the enemy. In others, they're sometimes just being dicks.
