That's the whole of Weird societies. Generally speaking, everyone is now irresponsible, dependant, and unable to face (or even causally grasping) consequences. We may perceive it better in regards to women or girls because it becomes part of our problems as a couple (either prospective, current or former) but really everyone, female and male, straight and homo, young and old, rich and poor, is like that. It's how our rulers have made us in 200 or so years of industrialization, bourgeois rule, democracy, liberalism, socialism and progressivism. Girls are just one worm in a can full of them.
