Amazingly, Apple has gotten people to think the price of their phone should go up, not down.

They are getting people to pay $1,000 USD for an iPhone... Electronics traditionally depreciate in price. Look at the price of flat-screen TV's, or hard drives, or CPUs.

Not with Apple... They made the iPhone a luxury and status item by making it more expensive, and people BUY it.
