"far as sexulization, it is vanilla as hell."
Yes, as you say very vanilla. But also sexualized. Also, as the artist says, very 1970s - perhaps especially 1970s New York. I could agree with that based on photos I have seen of New York from that era, at least as far as the outfits go. Funny thing is that these photos don't particularly appeal to me. I like sexy girls. I do not like girls acting like they are strippers or prostitutes. It just doesn't appeal to me, and I suspect it doesn't appeal to most pedophiles. On the other hand, the other day I saw a girl about 10 years old with light brown hair at a restaurant, who had a look of serious concentration while she was doing something with a pencil and what appeared to be a workbook. I found that very attractive despite the girl herself being only moderately pretty. And the last time I went to church there was a gorgeous red headed girl, about 5 years old in a simple but pretty dress, doing the sorts of things 5 year old girls do in church. I might just have to go more often! But what these "activist mommys" are really upset about is not that girls are sexualized, but that girls are sexual. Baldur |
