That reminds me of some slow mo pistol firing as one dives for cover. Were you watching one of those action films of the guy with the Audi? Actually, even Mission Impossible sorta fits the bill (walk away).

I wasn't keeping up on your complex family interactions since I apparently upset you and chose to disengage, but I have also heard that when people get killed in their dreams, they literally die IRL. Dunno if that's true or not, but it's clearly time to deal with the stepmonster.
