I doubt that any girls credited his criminal 'treatments' as healing, is that really what you meant to say?

He was a doctor that took advantage of his position to practice sex therapy for his own interest, not his 'patients'. The placebo/nocebo angle here is questionable. It seems you are defending HIM and he does not deserve defense IMO.

But I don't question that he was a good doctor and that the girls appreciated that. He's a fool for throwing that away.
