I lived my youth in the hippie era, but another suitable era for me might have been the techno music era.

Years ago I posted here a link to a trancelike Egyptian song. Someone said that it was too "techno" for his taste, but I liked it.

And now one "song" began to ring in my ears. I did not know what it was, though I had heard it now and then. Notice that I do not follow any music trends any more and have not done so for a thousand years.

I found out that it was Darude's Sandstorm, almost 20 years old already, though I knew nothing about it. And I liked it too, especially with fireworks, lights and huge dancing audience, and it is clearly techno. (No wonder that I did not know what it was, because as one commentator on YT said, it is world's most known unknown song.)

Maybe I will listen it once a year from now on.

So... maybe I should have lived my youth in the techno music era.
