The commerce clause has been overused for a long time in obviously unconstitutional ways. That part of the ruling could be good.

And there are also serious differences in what is called FGM - ranging from a small ceremonial nick to complete removal of body parts. The doctor in this case claims that what she did was legal even if this law was in effect.

But this case could have interesting fallout.
