My old special one has their greatest hits. She still loves them, and me, post-18. And she's wayy far from stupid, in spite of my influence. It changes, but things will never be unrequited when the mutual underlying understanding is solid. They know it, provided you don't abandon it, no matter the changes nor circumstances.
