Here in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area), we have people with heritages from every country Man has had the habit of creating. The only continent that has no representative here is Antarctica.

When I first moved here, I was at a famous (big) shopping mall downtown Toronto. I sat just watching people go by. Anyone who knows me, knows I have a very good sense of hearing. I could hear people talking from 10s of feet away. What shocked me was how many different languages that were being spoken, most of which I could not identify. I just knew they were not English. Today, experience as helped me identify a foreign language simply by hearing a sentence or two being spoken. French, of course, is instantly recognized as I speak it. (I have managed to learn how to read and write it, too). Then there's Russian and Ukrainian (different?), Portuguese and Spanish (different?), Italian, German, Polish, (all the Slavic languages), Greek, Hebrew and Arabic (different?), Punjabi and Hindi (different?), Vietnamese, Tagalog (Philippine), Chinese (Mandarin and if I can't pick out a recognizable word, Cantonese), Korean (instantly recognized if written), Japanese (instantly recognized if written but very rare here in Canada), and many languages from Africa that I will never be able to distinguish among. Finally, there is English spoken by (or, at least attempted) by these different peoples. Many times, what is spoken is completely unrecognizable as anything yet I know the speaker is attempting English. Face shapes help tell which country they are from. Jamaicans are famous (or infamous) for their entire language which is a scrambled mix of very poor attempts at English.

And, very much to the point, Pretty Little Girls from those countries! OMG, yes! My AoA is cast in solid titanium (if you can cast titanium) at 5 to 9 with no exceptions nor adjusting (believe me, I've tried.) But to see a Pretty Little East Asian Girl is, for me, unbelievably attractive from 5 all the way up into their teens. I'm not sure why that is. One of the greatest tests of my will power was when I agreed to take a 10th grade Chinese Girl to Her dance classes and back. Her English was very limited and my Mandarin is just as limited. But, if She even looked at me, my heart would stop. This went on several times per week for several months until She went back to China for the summer. I was always the gentleman but, my god, I didn't want to be.
