I know for a fact that pedophilia in me is not about an obsession with pretty little girls any moreso than teleiophilia is about an obsession with pretty little women. It's about person-to-person connection, it can be mutual; it has essentially all the same properties. Case in point: I'm not attracted to breasts, generally (an attribute of my pedophilia) and would prefer a totally flat chest if possible. But meeting a 13yo I had a very close connection with when she was 8-10 (and totally flat then)... I was very attracted to the idea of HER breasts.
