I'm thinking ... didn't Twitter have an executive in charge of "trust and safety" who had worked with a notorious vigilante group to attack us and was a self-confessed rapist?
It's been years. Perhaps I remember incorrectly, but that's what I seem to recall. And if Silicon Valley considers it reasonable to put a person like that in charge of "trust and safety" on a major platform with millions of users ... well, what would you expect? The others are not much better. But I believe they have gone insane precisely because they see they are losing a much bigger fight - and in that fight, at least, we have allies. Yes, they will rage, but I'm feeling positive about things right now. We have several avenues open before us. Our enemies had better pray that they are not successful enough to drive us to the last one. Baldur |
