The losses were small but strategic.

In one instance, I had commented upon the account of a young lady who, 4-5 years ago, was a top pinup for GLs with a young AoA. She had announced some account changes that were being initiated by a parent. I simply asked why (thus calling parental attention to my IG profile), and was promptly blocked. It turns out that the girl herself had offered a detailed and apologetic reply, which I would have never seen had I not had an alternate IG account.

However, blocking is not death - just a mere inconvenience, unless the account is or goes private.

After that I made sure that my main IG account never commented upon or followed any LGs.
