Yeah, tiger barbs are something I'd never go for ever again. I was in a doc's waiting room not ling ago and they had species in a giant 50+ gallon tank that you'd NEVER place together. Instead of a peaceful harmonious experience you'd want in a such a place, there was constant mayhem between potential prey and predators. I tried to tell them, but some doctor there was responsible for the tank and didn't care what an ATM pleb thought. I changed my doctor. If he's that clueless, I don't want to place my life in his hands. Yes, true story.

Ick is indeed Ich. Sorry, it's been nearly 40 years. 12-year-old me related to the more familar "ick". Perhaps it was something else entirely.

Oh, to have had those big silky blue saltwater fish... Saltwater aquariums may be more complicated, but I know... I coulda been a contender.
