I'm comfortably out of any quarrels here...

...because if a message is longer than 7 words, I skip it.

That was exaggeration. I do read some longer messages, but they must touch me in some special way, they must be important to me.

And these days almost nothing is important to me.

It is of course a little harder for me to read long messages in English than it is for some of you, but I tend to do the same with general news in my own language - if a man was run over by a car somewhere in my vicinity, I don't want to know his life story, I just want to see what street it was, and then close the page.
