My girl

She looks for me as I for her. Age differences in this life do not matter to her, she is devoted to love alone, knowing that all love settles and shifts in time and that is not of great importance. The important thing is to honor love as it happens. She might be from another country, or planet, or dimension. But she is out there and I will meet her. We will share love. It may not be sexual love but I would not rule that out. It will be glorious.

This is something I choose to believe. Nothing can stop me from believing it. Call me crazy but this is my choice and my comfort.

I might be crazy but I’m not a fool. There is practically no chance we will meet. But I must believe. No matter how old I get I will hope until my last second to see her, to know she was there.

It could be the next girl I meet. It could be one I already know. I will honor each and every one of them as If she were my girl. Maybe I look in her eyes one day and we see each other. All is possible with love.
