a lot changed when broadcasting your life to the internet became a thing. there needs to be a shift in culture to accommodate the fact that a 14yo even CAN film herself in the privacy of her own bedroom in a bikini and upload that shit for others to watch.
it's neurotic to judge the content of a video from a moralizing opposition towards imaginary ascribed reactions of an unknowable mass of anonymous VIEWERS rather than... the content itself.
either we say "OMG, a 14yo in a bikini where PEDOS can see her!" and discriminate relentlessly on who's allowed to do what based on their age and sex... or we say "great, now a 14yo who wanted to film herself in a bikini can do so!" and simply accept this new potentiality without going out of our way to manifest any negative consequences for her.
when a surefire way to solve your problem is to dial down how much it bothers you to like 5%, why is it even a problem?
you know what i mean?
