I just watched the delightful Swedish film "Du Är Inte Klok Madicken" about a young Swedish schoolgirl and her misadventures during the time of World War I. Since I couldn't find subtitles for the version I'd acquired, I couldn't follow the dialogue. However, it didn't much matter.

The young actress playing Madicken is delightful, as are the other little girls (for the most part). [Spoiler]

There is some nudity, but, as one reviewer stated:

As for the nudity, this is normal in that part of the world (and should be in ALL parts of the world). It has NOTHING to do with porn or pedophilia. People who see it as such are narrow-minded and uneducated. Being naked is natural, especially when you are a child. I don't think the movie would be the same without it.

I wholeheartedly agree with him.

I found those bits to be charming and not all erotic (well, just a little) - just as it was intended to be. The whole 107-minute movie was a pleasure to watch; and I had absolutely no need to smoke a cigarette afterwards.
