Last Sunday I experienced a little bit of heaven - in church no less!!

[Backstory] Three weeks ago I discovered a new church - one which opens its doors wide open to all, including LBGTQ!
However, I'm fairly sure that folks there may not be quite ready to also embrace MAPs.

I usually attend a later service, but I took a chance on the earlier service in order to participate in a special ceremony.

Imagine my surprise upon discovering that three 9yo angels were present to help at the welcome tables. Actually, according to her mom, one of them was having a "hellish" morning. But after her friends showed up, the trooper-booted, denim jacket clad, dark haired "grump" gleefully shed her horns.

As the 3 beauties ran about and chased each other, stealing bits of Easter candy whenever they could, I was hard pressed to maintain conversation with several church members who were eager to meet me. My mind was clearly elsewhere, although I did my utmost to not show it.

I thought to myself that if treats like this were regular Sunday occurrences, maybe 9am wasn't too early after all! Hallelujah!

Needless to say I earnestly praised God for the rest of the day!
