Youngsters these days do have access to the wonderful world of Internet Fun. You're right about that.

However, they won't be wandering about anywhere on the Toronto Islands during the winter. The only people there are old retirees like me who remain there the entire winter because there are NO buses there. I'm not sure, but I don't think there are any ferry service there, either. Just little cottages with some internet, some phone service, some amenities, and lots of sleeping. (The Toronto Islands are very very small and the Toronto Harbor is pretty much frozen over during the winter.)
