It is impossible for anyone to live without thinking of themselves.
Perhaps we get full of ourselves sometimes. Perhaps it is sometimes warranted, and others who are envious call self-confidence narcissism. In Hajduk's case, the problem is not that he thinks too much of himself but that he thinks too much about others, and is disappointed when he cannot give them everything they need. If there is too great a self-regard involved, it is a case of expecting himself to do the impossible for the sake of others. That may be a fault, but only because he ends up hurting himself. I hope he returns. Baldur |
