In the eyes of the law, this I know:
If I physically respond to a child's sexual advances, I'm legally a child molester - clear and simple.

But what about:
If I merely verbally respond (with no physical contact involved), am I also legally a child molester?

What if I happen to exhibit noticeable sexual arousal as I verbally respond?

If I merely reply online to overt sexual flirtation initiated by a child, does that make me a child molester?

If I hand a personally-penned love letter to a child, can I be arrested as a child molester?

What if It's only a love poem?

What if I merely read it to the child yet retain possession?

If I use necessarily explicit language in the process of describing loving sexual activity to a child, am I also a child molester? Or am I merely guilty of obscenity with a minor?

If an adult visually demonstrates to a child how to pleasure itself, does that make the adult a child molester?

What if the adult is the child's legal parent or guardian?

Is there any allowable sexual interaction between an adult and a child which will not subject the adult to arrest or conviction?

Or is our world hopelessly and totally insane?
