Not this time, though. I wasn't really even thinking about this stuff until she popped into my personal space (a very welcomed surprise).

I will say though, that yesterday I was standing in a line behind a couple with a pretty daughter who was about 8 as well. She was behind them and I felt her staring at me. I finally looked back at her softly and she immediately said "hi" as well.

She was yet another girl with a clear strong bond to dad. She had been holding his hand as they walked to the line, not mom. They were Latino, which is pretty common for dads and daughters to have a platonic romance going on.

Not having many girls that age say "hi" to me as a complete stranger over the years, the one thing I saw that they had in common were very close relationships with an adult male, their dads.

Actually, I suspected the easy confidence of the first girl was probably due to home-schooling and she wasn't brainwashed with Stranger Danger. The second one was from a different culture that seems to be much more free-range with their kids.

It's been an uplift when I needed one, though. Not the first time LG's have magically made little cameo appearances when I was having difficulty. Tinkerbell must be sprinkling fairy dust on me lately or something. Walking out of the supermarket today I had yet another girl just lock eyes with me like I was something different and curious to her.

I think Springtime has an effect on women and girls of all ages. I've always felt more attention from females in Spring, on nice sunny days, and it's also when all the cute little snuggle bunnies seem to come out of hibernation. Best time of the year for girl lovers IMHO.

So get outside and breathe in those hazy chemtrails, everyone:)
