I remember that topic. I can see the benefits to that living arrangement, but also a lot of unrelated downsides as well as drama later. Home always needed to be a peaceful place for me. I'm reminded of married guys who meet their dates at a motel instead of inviting them to their place while the wife is out. Not how I see this love or wish for it to be, but it has its merit. Trump didn't have that luxury I guess.
Actually, though, I've seen some pretty nice tranquil trailer parks in Canada. Not sure if there were kids around, but they were very homey compared to the ones I've seen in the US. I'd be way more into summer camping trips at state or national parks with a decent rig. Being friends for a week or two in the woods probably isn't so bad. Can't not name drop Trailer Park Boys. Was a huge fan of that, but damned sure I wouldn't wanna live there. |
