As a matter of fact, I was thinking the same thing about pure evil.

Although police don't seem to be ready to permit the murder of people on the people who are on the publicly available online sex offender registry.
As demonstrated by their lack of failure to act when such a thing happens.
Police do permit plenty of crimes against registered sex offenders as shown by their failure to act when those crimes are permitted.

This reminds me of the separate but equal supreme court decision. The court tried separate but equal and that didn't work. The court then overturned separate but equal. The sex offender registry was enacted under the public safety doctrine. But public safety wasn't the result, public vigilantism is the result.

Maybe if the court revisited one of the biggest injustices against pedophiles it would shoot down the sex offender registry law.
