Ellen Got Fondled

Not to be confused with Freddy Got Fingered (carrying on the Drew Barrymore/Canadians theme).

It's anti-intuitive for me, but I always loved Ellen.

Not most of her political views, even though part of the reason I admire her is that she usually doesn't try to shove them in everyone's face.

She's got a seriously awesome high-level sense of humor, and it doesn't try to take cheap shots or low blows at political enemies. Quite the rarity.

I am sorry to hear she was on the receiving end of unwanted experiences. No true girl lover would ever force their desires onto a girl, nor try to pressure them into things they were highly hesitant about. Trying to trick them into wanting something is no better. All of these things create remorse, hatred, and commitment to lifelong retribution against us later, and sometimes even creates a lesbian orientation:/

I still remember her dancing with Elle Fanning. Ellen is truly talented. I may not be on board with some of what she stands for, but I know I'm witness to someone extremely talented and well meaning.

She has an old skit somewhere where she tells how her parents trolled her and told her they were going to send her off to live with an Indian tribe when she was still very young. I laughed so hard it made my belly hurt. I experienced a similar infliction of old-school parental humor. In spite of its perceived cruelty, it gives a leg up to kids, a benefit which is only understood much later in life.

So many fakers in Hollywood. No matter how many things I may disagree with her about, I just know Ellen ain't one of em.
