We FALL in love and sex is natural. Things then get so complicated that we can't see clearly.

As much as I like your philosophy, it seems to me it is hindsight psychology and of little use as a logical plan going in.

Love and heartache are sisters. In my view, we are better equipped to have no expectations of permanence in any relationship.

But then, it is likely that I am the one that missed something.

that's you. tell that to your girl and make sure she understands it before you're gonna start anything to which that view's applicable. you'll likely change the wording somewhat. if she disagrees then someone's gotta change, and you bet it's not going to be her. but on the other hand, yes, shit happens, people can genuinely change their minds. if you want to communicate - to your number one - in hindsight, best of luck to you. you're gonna fuck some things up that way, though, and probably too many things. communication is an ongoing two-way process that necessarily is present in any relationship. the more important the relationship is to you, the more you're gonna want to put serious consideration into making sure your moves are gonna be okay well in advance.
