I had been sentenced to death and I was awaiting my execution. There was a young woman (not a little girl), a maidservant, who had been sentenced to death with me. The scene was from the 1800s.

I was allowed to say my last words, to make a short speech before the execution. I was standing in front of an open window, the crowd was outside, I leaned against the windowsill and began in a loud voice, "You may think you see a monster before you, but..."

And alas, at this point the dream began to wear thin and I woke up (this morning). I was almost disappointed, I could not hear how the speech would have continued -- the beginning sounded so promising.
