It's practically inevitable if they've had long hair for a long time. It's like a big exciting risk for them, like they're gonna be a new person or something. Way back in the day my younger gf went off to some stupid glamor college in the deep south somewhere. She came back at Christmas break with this ugly haircut that made her look like a mushroom. She had long voluptuous hair for most of her life.
