I have a new Android smartphone; in the old one I never created a Google account. Now it occurred to me: what if the phone is more useful to me if I create a Google account?

Is this a wise thing to do for a MAP?

I know I will NEVER use that phone to access any pedo board, nor will I save any legal (let alone illegal! - I don't have such stuff) girl pictures there, nor will I ever use it for any "MAP things/stuff" etc.

And I will not allow any system or program to synchronize my phone with my computer -- the phone will be used strictly for "off-topic" things.

If it's possible that your phone might automatically sync up with your Gmail and store stuff in a publicly visible space (even if it isn't likely someone would look at it), would it be worth the risk?"

Is there someone here who knows about these things?
