I bought my HP laptop in May 2014, and I'm sure that soon I must say goodbye to it. It still starts if I keep it in the fridge for some time... but everyone knows what happens if you keep your computer in the fridge.
Problem? Powerful laptops do not have a powerful cooling, the computer keeps getting too hot whatever you do and however often you vacuum all the airholes, and over time the motherboard suffers from it -- the thermal expansion wrings and twists some internal parts of the motherboard, and this damage is irreversible. I have a couple of older, uneffective laptops, and they are still going strong! Desktops are a different thing, they have enough room for the cooling system. So no thanks to new effective laptops. |
