Like yourself, I don't think Alex Jones knowingly had anything to do with child porn.

Of course, under the law he doesn't have to. Just possession leaves a man guilty of a felony, even if the cops planted the contraband on his computer or in his house specifically for the purpose of destroying him. Intent, knowledge, actual actions - mean nothing.

And that is one of many problems with the law as it stands.

I see such events as an opportunity to educate the public. Whether they be pro-Alex Jones or anti-Alex Jones, most of the public has no idea just how bad the laws are, and just how bad the laws have to be, if they insist on persecuting those of us who love children. If the public understood just how badly they have screwed themselves they might object for their own sake, if not for ours.

But I am not sure it will make any difference. Human irrationality runs very deep.
