It is my understanding that there is complete freedom for pedophiles to reveal their sexual orientation to a therapist as there is a Confidentiality Requirement in such a situation.

The only exception is when a pedophile reveals to his/her therapist information that indicates he is on the verge of sexually abusing a child. In that case, the therapist is required to report him/her.

But the general day-to-day struggles of pedophiles are protected by the Confidentiality Requirement.
