Lindsay, when he went to... Cartagena?

Didn't there used to be an exotic-looking clothed model girl with caramel skin, but possibly blue eyes and long blond hair? I seem to remember a young mom and likely an American dad, based on the t-shirts she wore. The settings were always in Columbia. What a gorgeous girl.

I used to work with a very pretty young American girl. A debonair early 20-something Colombian kid had convinced her into marriage in order to get residency in the US. They had not been married very long, but I could tell things were already shaky when she described her disbelief and disgust about taking a bus ride to meet his family, that the roads were horrible, and that people had chickens on the bus:D She said he basically ignored her once they were back in his country, and after he had briefly shown her off to his male relatives.

I was watching her finally losing her innocence in real time. I suspect it eventually dawned on her that she was being used. Sad, because I could have seen myself with her instead, and I would have treated her much better.
