The funny thing about modern society is just how far down the Orwellian toilet it has gone.

Now that you have a perfectly acceptable daughter, how will She go to school? Get any kind of medical or dental care? Think "birth certificate", that which EVERYONE has to have. Then, assuming you manage to get one that looks authentic, a social security number is needed. And, for school, inoculations. But, as shown, that damned mainstay of "PAPERS, now" document is nothing unless it's carved in stone at some local city hall. Can't get a bank account without one. Can't get a job without one. Can't pay taxes without one. Can't have Her own kids, later in life, without one. And there is nothing She can do about it except live off the grid in a custom built, solar powered, wildlife stocked mountain/desert home. Or stay homeless. Or stay invisible. Or emigrate to Mars.

People no longer care about their civil liberties. They care about their standard of life. The modern world has outgrown notions like freedom. They’re content to follow. And thus, the government gods have intimate control over not only you, but Her, as well. Everyone. It's a done deal. There is no more anonymity. You are a number. You are owned and controlled by Big Brother.
