Maybe I am an evil anti-vaxer. The thing with vaccines is they are not that great when it comes to personal health. Firstly, most of the things you are vaccinated against you will never come in contact with, it is like getting meteor strike insurance. Secondly, vaccines are not perfect protection they work less than 100% of the time ranging from 70% to 95%. Third, they are not without health drawbacks if they where they would be given to the immunity compromised and they are not. Also, shots are fun only for a minority of people most people do not like to be stabbed and have something injected into the wound. What makes shots worse is paying for them either directly or indirectly through insurance.

I do not see a great case for getting a vaccine for your own health unless that vaccine is a tetanus shot. I do see a case to be made for getting a vaccine for someone else's health.
