How to improve the mental health industry.

Some things that would improve the mental health industry.

1. Stop thinking of things in terms of virtue and vice. Recognize the animal drives humans have while also recognizing humans as human. Like an addiction, for example, addiction is simply a drive to a known pleasure and an avoidance of pain. That is all it is. We are all prone to it and we are not inferior or week when we find ourselves stuck in it.

2. The mental health needs to examine its core values. The mental health industry will tell you time and again but we conduct studies. The studies don't matter when the core values are wrong. When a kid who is diagnosed with ADHD is turned into a zombie and that result is called a success you know something is wrong with the core values of the mental health industry.

3. Dump the mandatory reporting laws or at least put up a good fight against them. Mandatory reporting laws do not save lives, save children or save anything. Mandatory reporting laws just drive away patients who know your safe space isn't really safe.

4. Stop charging such exorbitant fees the mental health sciences have not progressed to a point where an hour of your time is worth 100$ an hour. I know you need to pay back a loan but those fees are way too much.
