People are cruel. People are spiteful. People are jealous. People are stupid. People are selfish. People are liars and people are thieves. People are hypocrites.

Grace only feels better to those who already know they have grace. Otherwise it's missed pleasure-opportunities and lost convenience. Since there is nothing that can be done to obtain grace from a point of non-grace, it makes the struggle eternal and meaningless (meaningless as viewed as "struggle"). If the goodness in people moves you enough, you can become a teacher of some kind, and help others stay in heaven or coax them back into it. Of the lost souls who never find grace because they can't figure out they already have it: there's nothing you could have done to change their fate.
