Damn it! I watched, I relapsed.

I clearly need a new approach. At least my creative juices are flowing enough to resume writing again.

Gimwinkle, thanks. It's nice to be reminded that I can set my own rules, and that I need not pressure myself to conform to someone else's.

Perhaps, like an alcoholic, I will always be addicted, but that doesn't mean that I have to let it control me.

Some alcoholics, though few and far between, are able to maintain control despite having alcohol close at hand. Similarly, some folks, such as yourself, are able to maintain and enjoy image collections without it becoming a problem. Sadly, I am not one of them.

As long as I neither resume collecting nor obsessing over online images, I believe that I can keep my addiction in check. A relapse now and then is no reason for self-flagellation.

Even SFW (safe for work) images are off-limits. Actually, those have recently become more lethal to me than the borderline provocative ones.

By and large, I am optimistic about my life. Of course, I have moments when the clouds hang low and heavy with darkness and despair, but those eventually pass. What helps immensely is knowing that I have someone in my corner.
