There is no such thing as the future. It just hasn't happened... yet.
There is no NOW. Now cannot be defined; it's either about to happen or it happened already. Nothing in between.
The past, however, no longer exists, either. That was "then". Finished happening. But...

We have a unique ability to record happenings. We have memory. The "now" that just past is currently in my memory... until I forget it. Intentionally or unintentionally.
Nevertheless, our memories allow us to spend some quality "time" in the past that no longer exists.
Kind of a paradox, eh?

You have memories of Her. Treasure them. What may happen in the future cannot be predicted, just hoped for.
